Sarvajal’s most ambitious innovation is a patent-pending device we call the “Soochak”. The Soochak replaces traditional filtration control systems with a cloud-connected, two-way device that gives us real-time information on our water production and an ability to anticipate service issues before they create downtime for franchisees.   The Soochak speaks to Sarvajal’s head office and will facilitate game-changing opportunities to deliver water as a service in the most difficult environments around the globed.   Sarvajal is completing a retrofit on all existing Sarvajal-ownes machines and no longer installs new franchises without Soochaks.

One of Sarvajal’s most ambitious plans involves a full shift from service-based collection to a prepaid mechanism for both consumers and franchisees.   The intent is to make getting water to people as simple, transparent, and easy to understand as possible – and use a process that is familiar to almost everyone in the country thanks to the prepaid phone revolution.

To do this, Sarvajal is developing proprietary technology that creates the hardware to enable prepayment of filtration capacity and water purchase, and is currently completing the software required to manage user accounts and mobile/decentralized payment systems.
